Can You Get A Sore From A Yeast Infection?
Sores could form with a yeast infection. Excoriations form on the skin which means, skin wears off on a patch of skin, white lesions form, inflamed bumps with pus called pustules, fissures, or inflamed bumps on the skin without pus called sores, could form, from a yeast infection. There is a discharge accompanied by peeling of skin. Candida also causes breaking of skin called fissures which have the appearance of sores.
Where the skin erodes, small sore areas called excoriations are caused by yeast infection. A patch of skin becomes inflamed and red with a yeast infection. These symptoms indicate that the person has got a sore that could be caused by Candida.
Can Thrush Cause A Rash On The Body?
Thrush is a kind of infection caused by yeast called Candida. The yeast is found on the body normally and when it grows out of control, it causes thrush. It causes white patches on the tongue and in the mouth most commonly in older adults and babies. However it could occur in people of any age. In babies thrush is generally not a very serious infection.
In babies, their immune system is not strong enough to control yeast growth, hence, babies are more prone to this yeast infection. In the case of older people, with age their immune system also weakens and hence they could get thrush. Thrush is also caused if particular medications like inhaled, corticosteroids or antibiotics are taken. People having health issues like HIV or diabetes are more likely to get thrush.
